Gaingels is amongst the largest investors in the world aiming to show the world that equity of access and representation in venture capital delivers positive returns.

Gaingels co-invests with select venture capital leads in companies resolved on building diverse and inclusive teams. We seek to drive top returns while influencing the ecosystem and representing a diverse group of investors that include the LGBTQ+ community and its allies within the capital stack of its portfolio companies.

With over $990,000,000 deployed into a portfolio of over 2,400 companies since 2019, we partner with our founders to help them build more diverse and inclusive organizations. Through the pledge and commitments in our Gaingels Letter and our Venture Inclusion Program we seek to have a real impact on our portfolio of companies. Gaingels provides a platform for more underrepresented people to become involved in the innovation economy, and we also provide an internal free diverse board member/observer recruitment advisory for our portfolio companies. We are a founding co-signer of the Diversity Term Sheet Rider Initiative to increase access to venture funding events for non-traditional check writers, and we regularly co-invest with select VC leads across a variety of stages and sectors, from technology, to B2B, healthcare and consumer, in competitive and over-subscribed rounds from Seed to Growth/pre-IPO.
